The Mets carry their three-game March winning streak, going back to March 29, 2018, to March 30, 2019, in Washington, D.C. The last time the Mets played on March 30, Benny Agbayani hit the game-winning grand slam in Tokyo. Mets are 6-3 in March overall, starting with that sweet 14-inning Opening Day victory over the Phillies on March 31, 1998.

Noah Syndergaard and his teammates take on Stephen Strasburg and his teammates, 1:05 Saturday. Noah is undefeated in March. And life, it sometimes seems.

I get it, build more off days into the schedule this time of year to account for weather. Still, off days also suck.

I'm driving down to Washington tonight. We'll be in section 116. Our first trip to Nationals Park.

It's a decent park!

Some tips:

Park away from the stadium and take the Metro in. There are Metro stops at the park, and there is not much parking.

The Presidents gather for photos and hi-jinx in the plaza beyond centerfield just after the gates open. Pose with them all, but especially Theodore Roosevelt, who is just a bad ass!

There is a Shake Shack on the terrace in the right field area.

Thanks for the tip! What's a good spot to park?

The larger stops on the outskirts have large commuter parking lots. We stayed at a hotel in Maryland that was near a big lot, but I'm not sure where you are staying.

Yeah, a lot would depend on where you're staying.

If anywhere within the area served by METRO you can just leave your car wherever you leave it Friday night and do the equivalent of the 7-Train in.

See 'Navy Yard/Ballpark' stop on the Green line due south of the Capitol

If you want to drive to the stadium or simply near-er to it there are various parking lots in the area, the closer to the stadium the more costly they get.

Go to the Nats team page for maps, suggestions, etc. You can also pre-buy a parking pass to various lots.
