I agree with this. Stearns has handed Mendoza a limp turd to work with. You have a virtually unlimited budget, but Tommy Pham, Tyrone Taylor, and Craig Kimbrel are playing important spots? Come on. (And I shouldn't even knock Kimbrel, because except for the 10th inning Sunday, he's been okay.)

I think if anything, maybe Mauricio needs an extended look. I feel like the Baty/Vientos experiment has runs its course.

I agree, but weirdly, ninth is where he's most productive, and by a LOT. I don't know how much of that is someone like Lindor hitting behind him.
