Wait the pitcher had poopy pants ? I missed that. Disappointing ending 😞

Huascar gets 5 outs on 3 pitches. Manaea throwing in the pen, buckle up

Nice knocks there by Lindor + Soto to even things up #LGM

I don't recall quite that many triple headers but otherwise yes that sounds accurate.

Syracuse Mets have split their opening weekend series against the Woo-Sox. Home opener is Tuesday - this first week, the Tues/Thurs/Fri games are all 4:05 PM starts instead of the usual later 6:35 PM starts that will kick in later in April. Forecast looks pretty spotty - I am unlikely to attend any games on this initial homestand. Fboy is back at the ballpark this summer, once again working in the gift shop, which means I'll have lots of comp tickets at my disposal. So that's pretty sweet

These post game interviews are tough to watch when they need to translate in real time. Too clunky

    WOOOOOOOOOOO !

Ridiculously tepid at bats there from LIndor and Soto

Pirates closer apparently was a Met in '23 ? I have no recollection of this

Devin Williams gets it done there. Mets look to walk it off

Good point by the booth, they took Keller out after 77 pitches and six scoreless and it's not looking like a good move thus far

Proper work done there. In Huascar we trust

Ol DP done after 5 1/3. Bit of a pickle here. It'd be cool if the Mets could score a run or runs

So far I'd say this is a major upgrade from the old site. I feel like we're riding in a shiny new auto

Home and happy to be watching on SNY. I love a 4 PM start time on the weekends. Solid first inning for Dee-Peetey

I get the notion of leaving an open day on the calendar and in the schedule to accommodate for potential inclement weather, but I will say that waiting until Saturday for the next Mets game is some crap #hottake

What an awesome start to the season. I am rock hard with enthusiasm

I peeked often at that age, did you ever see anything good ?

Interesting indeed. We often drive in directly through and right past the Paramus mall that is an option for that shuttle. $22 for a family of four would be half the cost of the Citi Field parking.

All of them better than Daniel Murphy, I thought.

Mendy/Mets have announced the first turn through the rotation. Interestingly, Manaea (whose velocity has been down for most of the spring) will piggy back on one of these starts, TBD which Thurs 3/26 - Peralta vs PIT Sat 3/28 - Peterson vs PIT Sun 3/29 - McLean vs PIT Mon 3/30 - Holmes vs STL Tues 3/31 - Senga vs STL

We have listened to Howie on countless family car trips over the years. Both of my kids have commented that hearing his voice reminds them of their childhoods. So there you go. He's a gem
