    He was pretty savvy in the draft, trying to work the stupid slot system by saving his pennies on one dude to go over-slot on a high-ceiling guy who slipped for whatever reason. He didn't seem nearly as creative with the big league roster. But BVW will always be known for the Cano trade. Something that seemed so outlandish when we discussed it here when it was just a rumor. And if Kelenic isn't the second coming of Christian Yelich, the Mets might even win the damn trade, who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I'm putting this in the baseball forum because I know some avoid the NBF, etc. I enjoyed our Zoom meeting some time ago but it's not really in our budget to open a Zoom account. I learned this morning that Google Meet is free and sup- posedly just as good. Anyone have any experience? Do you have to use Chrome? Does it work on Apple? Looks like it does work on multiple browsers including Safari, so Apple would seem to be good. https://support.google.com/meet/answer/7317473?hl=enhttps://support.google.com/meet/answer/7317473?hl=en Free version apparently supports up to 100 guests and 60 minutes. If we're going over an hour on a Google Meat™, Fman better be getting tips.

    Who had 19 K/9 penciled in for Edwin this year? I realize it's still only 21 IP, maybe a third of what he would get in a full season, but damn it, he has been so good. After the early blown saves and he lost his job, I worried he might never get right in a Mets uni. But he's cut the HR/9 down significantly and even though walks are up from last year and his BABIP is very high (.433!), he has gotten very right. That said, where's your CAHNfidence with Sugar D going forward? You are the GM in this thread. Do we have our dominant closer for 2021 or trade him NOW!!!! at peak (peak!) value for upgrade pieces.
