  1. You mean day one, 2010? Or are you talking forever?
  2. Eat the final year and a half of his contract? And who would slide into the rotation?
  3. OH, well. At least the hockey game looks good.
  4. Really, Gary? NOW is the time to start wondering if Ollie's spot in the rotation is secure?
  5. Not one of the Met-ly Bobby Jones, managing for OKC.
  6. If Omar does get canned, I'd like the permanent replacement (and I've said this before) to come from somewhere other than the Cashen/McIlvaine/Phillips tree. Krivsky would be welcome.
  7. Considering how often you are there, you should be leading the tours.

  9. Keith, remind me again, who's your sponsor?
  10. Rich Becker? McKay Christiansen?

  12. Why not boycott all Diamondbacks games; Cardinals games; Suns games; Coyotes games; all Spring Training games while they are at it. If the MLBPA really, truly felt this was worth boycotting, why wouldn't they boycott games that really mean something, like Diamondbacks regular season games. Why wouldn't they say, we won't report to camp if our camp is in Arizona. I'd have a lot more respect for a player who decided to sit out a series in Arizona and give up his paycheck for those three games than I would for players to boycott an All-Star game because their union rep told them to.
  13. Aunalilia Barajas. 9 vowels in her name (including 6 As). Some kind of Met kid record?

  15. Boots Day Diego Segui (and, apologies, FMan) Dick Dietz
  16. Maine 3 Rodriguez .5 Mejia .5 Wright 1 Barajas 1.5 Reyes 1 Castillo .25 Pagan .25
  17. Niese 1 Takahashi 2.25 Wright 1.25 Francoeur .75 Catalanotto .75 Pagan 1.5 Cora .5
  18. At least we got the run in. It's quite frustrating to get the leadoff guy on and sacrifice him over, only to follow that with a hit that doesn't score the runner. Francoeur's SF saved Jerry there. Also frustrating that we gave up 2 outs, with the caught stealing, in that inning.
  19. Cat with a leadoff hit! Here comes Luis to bunt.

  21. All this time I thought Eck was an original with his black hair and thin stache. But all's he's doin' is stealin' Ken Reitz's look from 1980.
