Garland to me would be a durable, and perhaps Trachsellian, addition to the rotation. Nothing to pop champagne corks about, but a guy I'd feel reasonably confident in every five days. And I'd be reasonably comfortable that he'd actually make it out there every five days.

Me and three of my boyz jumped in on a 15-game plan. It allows the four of us to go to a few games together, then gives up a few games each to which we can take our family. I personally will end up going to 6 or 7 games in this. We're in section 512.

I remember a Mad Dog Russo rant a few years ago, about how (maybe the Giants) could not hit "ARRRR AYYYYY DICCKKEEYYY". He went on and on with it. I bet he loves this move. -

Mike Francesa absolutely loves Arroyo. At least he used to have a hopeless man-crush on him when I listened more frequently. "HE'S A WINNAH."

Maybe it's time, but the only things I remember from the 2000 regular season are: - the 10-run inning to beat the Braves - Clemens-Piazza, round 1 the postseason was great for two rounds, then ended quite badly. I have loads of great memories of 2006, though, despite the ending. A loss to a lesser Cardinals team was still not as bad as thinking all the What-Ifs after the MFY series.

Turk and Pedro for me too. I was tempted to go Heilman for his fine 2006. And not a single wise guy has voted for "LEFT HANDED" yet. -
I guess FA Scott Podsednik needs to find a new place of employment. (I'd advocate the Mets signing him for no reason other than to make Wifey Watch 2010 thread more interesting)
