1. There was a small wine chain several years back called Best Cellars. I feel like this movie is about that clever.
2. I didn't even know the Poocher existed until he appeared. And even then I only "saw" him as an animated gameday robot. Looked like ****.
3. I'd say extremely unlikely. The interesting thing about tendons is they will grow back. If its a small tear it can be fixed if they put him in a cast for a while. Surgery for a big tear, fuggetaboutit
4. Depending on how severe it'll be 3 months or 10 months till he's ready to go again
5. I say we get Jorge Lopez back, hope for the same result
6. That's a fake. That's actually Vebulon Zermillion
7. I saw this in the theater when it was new. I remember liking it at the time but also, that I was supposed to like it and it made me feel sophisticated for liking it. I should probably rewatch.
8. Didn't Criss have a thing about the No. 3? Part of his signature on the ALIVE! album I think
9. It would be cool if he still had that cup
10. Chet Lemon, center fielder for the 1984 Detroit Tigers. Got hit with pitches a lot. Used only 2 gloves in his career, they got all torn up and ugly but he liked them that way.
11. He's already made Mets history by being the first guy to suit up in #82
12. This one isn't so ambitious or quixotic... it's a smaller movie about relationships with a metal framework.
13. I can't believe none of you have watched this. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 headbangs. It's funny if not consistently so. The story is totally predictable, and parts of it are way too shaggy, but it really succeeds as a movie about friendship, especially if you've ever had that one friend who not a lot of other people liked. I had 2 friends like that in my life.
14. High school kids start a metal band, high volume hijinx ensue.
15. Do I suck?
16. Maybe we need one of those "prove you're a human" thingies
17. So no spoilers, but go see this. It's low-key funny and sneaky sad. There's a lot of baseball. Funny sounds. I love the uniforms of the red team. Drags a little at times but that's baseball. I would rewatch this often enough to learn the dialog and catch what I missed the 1st time.
18. Old guys get together to play ball. Hijinks ensue.
19. Fighting over something stupid with METSSC usually
20. Rogers follows him.
21. One of the replies to that SNY Tweet is a throwback. RkSlow!
22. maybe not as bad as the Ford truck race, but bad. The sausages & presidents work because they're people. These are objects. Objects aren't funny.
23. They're screwing this guy over
