  1. I'm not in favor of it but I could see them dealing Lindor; there's something wrong with the fit here and we're deep enough where a return to form this year doesn't get us anywhere. Great Met but they all come to an end some time.
  2. Tsuyoshi Shinqo
  3. Soto's lazy error killed us
  4. Definitely felt like we were losing for most of this game. Marte got the pre-game video tribute on Tuesday. He got a good hand from the crowd when he came up. One thing we noticed, everybody except Tolbert and Perez on the Royals looks exactly alike, white guys with thin beards, and most are hitting like 260 with like 9 home runs Luxury box seats with free food & drink, can't complain. Big Xzavion fan now.
  5. Bog time. He never saw him coming
  6. It was an entertaining game for as ugly as it was. You don;t see guys get 5 hits, a 3-run inside-the-park home run, a pitcher run his ERA up to 81, etc every night
  7. We're back at it tonight too. Got a sweet suite invite so a rare 200-level appearance
  8. Polanco looked pretty good last night. He's arriving in time for Jared Young's inevitable decline phase
  9. It felt like we were still in it even after poor Seelinger got his ass kicked. But it was that squibbler between him and Bichette that really killed him. Soto is not a good outfielder; that is to say there were 3 balls last night that a really good left fielder would seem to have a chance on and Soto didn't come close. The third one looked like miscommunication between him and Ewing and might have been Ewing's fault; I don't know what the booth said. But that ball was in the air long enough to be caught. Also Bichette had a bad game with the glove and the bat. That kinda lack of execution even when you score 12, is what kills you. Also, Senga and Warren can't be giving us innings like that. Not good enough How about that Royals No. 9 hitter whose name I've already forgotten (Tolbert). Too many disputed calls, sloppy plays, lack of execution to have called that a good ballgame but we were entertained. Going back tonight!
  10. Tuesday Night Mets, with a special guest co-host, up in 513
  11. When I saw the headline I was sure they signed Oscar Gamble's grandson. But no. I don't get the big bet they made here
  12. I remember Al Holland. He was like a discount Al Hrabosky
  13. it's raciest-er the more you watch
  14. It's not encouraging that he'll be one of the guys interviewing his own successor next year.
  15. Yeah I'm on Team Lindor. Soto is the dullest superstar I've ever watched. Lindor is one of the most fun. They are both jocks tho
  16. Steve Cohen confesses to there being friction between Lindor & Soto last year but pretends its all love and affection now.
