Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I think the reasoning here is that Utley ran off the field because he was called out, and now that because the call was reversed he can't be penalized for it.But they've got to be fucking kidding me if they're going to reverse it on any of the angles that we saw.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I can't believe I'm seeing this. How do they not see him not touch the bag -- or even try to touch the bag?
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Tejada was trying to catch the ball and make contact with the bag. Front of the base was out of the question. Can they appeal once Reed takes the mound?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I hope someone "accidentally" tags Utley out with their spikes in his neck.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Play on, boys. You got this.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 This Reed v A-Gonz matchup has me all agitated.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 FUCK. This is the umpires' fault.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Can't see why the brought in Bartolo only to bump him.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 0-2 pitch that was. Not all the umps fault
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Edgy MD wrote:Can't see why the brought in Bartolo only to bump him.Right? Why is Reed the tonic there?
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 I'm trying to recall a worse mistake by the umpires in a Mets game. I can't.
Guest El Segundo Escupidor Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 The inning should have beeen over....so there's that.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Strap it on, Reed.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Fucking umpires fucked us there, and why Reed??
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 My stomach started to sink when they reversed Utley @2nd. Complete bullshit going by every view I saw. And whats this about Utley never touching second? Did he go back and tag it? It looked like he was going to.Damn. Turner!

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Utley never touched second. He ran off the field without ever touching the bag.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Ron Darling was saying the Mets should have done an appeal play before Reed threw his first pitch.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted October 10, 2015 Posted October 10, 2015 Also, you can't review the neoghborhood play. I guess that didn't qualify?Edit: Looks like this was already answered.
