Yes, it was 'The Patty Duke Show'. The odd thing being that I never (or maybe rarely) actually watched the show as I think the idea of physically identical but otherwise totally different cousins sounded really stoopid to me even way back then. Maybe it came on either right before or right after something I did watch, or maybe my sister watched it for a time and I picked it up via osmosis that way, but it's amazing how those stupid theme songs stick in your head.
I couldn't have recited the words from memory, but I would have gotten a chunk of them and recognized the origin above as soon as it was printed.
