Why do they release these things before they're ready?UPDATED METS LINEUP: Pagan-RF, Cora-2B, Wright-3B, Beltran-CF, Davis-1B, Bay-LF, Thole-C, Tejada-SS, Dickey-RHP
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2010 Author Posted July 15, 2010 JR didn't look/feel right (or left) in early batting practice. Does seem odd they wouldn't wait to post a lineup.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 See ya in August, JoseJose.
DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Belch-Ron in, Reyes out. Will we ever field the full squad?

Quite a few times Cora played instead of Castillo and we get things from Manuel like "Cora was planned all along, we knew this yesterday"Obviously Manuel's not the one tweeting the lineup/posting it in the clubhouse. I wonder if someone just gets antsy and throws up what they assume to be the case.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I suppose that between the crap happy Cora batting second and Lincecum pitching for SF, Jerry's gonna bunt every chance he gets. Wilpon's managers think that whether or not a one run lead is likely to hold up for eight innings has everything to do with how tough the opposing pitcher is.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Our Beltran's back and there's gonna be some trouble(hey la, hey la, our Beltran's back)Going to stripe one in the gap and leg it to a double(hey la, hey la, our Beltran's back)

Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Have the Mets ditched the black road jerseys with "New York" across the chest?
Guest The Second Spitter Guests Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Ha! Kevin recommends with the Cha-Cha Bowl as per my post in the KTE thread.
