Man answers; "Like a glove"

Let me get that finisher's medal before you write me off as being talented....

Pssh. The desperation helps, but you did get on.

I've tried five times, and they wouldn't have me. Hell, Millionaire wouldn't have me. THAT's resourcelessness, Heather.

I really like the sketches. They demonstrate great creativity and talent. I think a chronological series of sketches representing the season would make a great book any true fan. I envision a sketch for each game accompanied with a boxscore and a brief game summary.

Welcome to the Crane Pool. I hope to discuss the Mets and baseball in general with you in the near future.

This is fucked up. As if the talentless posters here didn't feel bad enough before this guy joined.

More and more this is becoming a hostile posting environment for us normal people.

We must redouble our dick-joke-making efforts! And then redouble those redoubled efforts!

That's four times the cock jokes!

I'm gonna need some help here gang.

I just read Joe's bio. Some very impressive credentials. He's a Met-lovin big shot, all right.

I love the Ali stuff, and the Lennon angel is awesome as well.

New to thread, welcome joepet.

Very cool images, you're very metstalented.

Frayed Knot wins with the glove comment, but jeez this thread
got all over the underwear map quickly.

That's stunning, man. The Ali's you've done were some of my favs. Welcome aboard, dude.

"Stunning" is the first word that came to my mind, too.

Well, after "whoa."

Hey, Joe, about how much time do you spend on each one? What size are they in real life? Sorry if this is on the blog and I missed. It's Sunday Funday and I'm buzzin.

With all the text and detail I definitely was surprised they were done on a 5x7. I was thinking more standard letter sized 8x11 or so.

They are awesome no matter what size you are doing them. I enjoy having you share your talent with us here at the the forum.

Friends, we are in the presence of Mets royalty. Our artist friend is too modest to tell us that he is the one who designed the 1980s racing stripes uniforms we know and love from the 1980s.

The whole saga is revealed on today's Uniwatch blog!

A must read!

Great chronicling of a (thus far) not so great season AND he designed our last championship uniforms? If the guy can bat third, then we know he can do it all.

I'm Jewish so I don't have my moleskine anymore.

Wait, what?
