Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Guy with five penises walks into a doctor's office -- doc takes one look and says; "Five Penises!, how does your underwear fit?"Man answers; "Like a glove"
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Now that we've welcomed him with an onslaught of penis comments, I hope we haven't seen the last of Joe the Artist.

Hell, Millionaire wouldn't have me. THAT's resourcelessness, Heather.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 I really like the sketches. They demonstrate great creativity and talent. I think a chronological series of sketches representing the season would make a great book any true fan. I envision a sketch for each game accompanied with a boxscore and a brief game summary. Welcome to the Crane Pool. I hope to discuss the Mets and baseball in general with you in the near future.

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Hey, Joe, about how much time do you spend on each one? What size are they in real life? Sorry if this is on the blog and I missed. It's Sunday Funday and I'm buzzin.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 I wonder what Jerry's post-game chuckle sounds like from up there.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 5x3? Really? They're just the size of a small index card? That's surprising!
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted May 17, 2010 Posted May 17, 2010 With all the text and detail I definitely was surprised they were done on a 5x7. I was thinking more standard letter sized 8x11 or so. They are awesome no matter what size you are doing them. I enjoy having you share your talent with us here at the the forum.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Friends, we are in the presence of Mets royalty. Our artist friend is too modest to tell us that he is the one who designed the 1980s racing stripes uniforms we know and love from the 1980s.The whole saga is revealed on today's Uniwatch blog!A must read!
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Great chronicling of a (thus far) not so great season AND he designed our last championship uniforms? If the guy can bat third, then we know he can do it all.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 If he can bunt, then we know he can do it all! I'm learning this season that bunting is what it's all about!

A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Cheers, Joe. That was a great read and the original sketch is killer. Lookin' forward to the full-blown ESPN interview.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 The interview is up on ESPN now. Great read... and some killer links, too. I love the Elvis stuff.
