Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I woulda gone with Welcome Back Kapler.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Didn't want to be too obvious.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 uhoh they've got two jews in their lineup, we're screwed!time to avoid the sweep!
Guest KC Guests Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Nevermind the Jews, BON JOVI LYRICS IN CAPS IS ENOUGH TO MAKEME WANT TO JUST FORFEIT AND HEAD TO THE BRONX.

Guest KC Guests Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Root 'em in Willet.I've been thinking of one of those sausage and peppers subs they sell out-side Fenway for three days now. Is Boston Beer Works still open?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 why did someone post that assclown avatar for kc? i laugh everytime he posts now...
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Delgado not playing tonight - injured rib cage.Chavez in left, Millege in right, Wright is the DH.I'm guessing Woody at 3rd?Yeesh.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I'd be tempted to put Chavez in left and Marerro in right, but given that today might be Lastings' last game in the majors for a while, guess he gets the start.Woodward at third, yes. He and Valentin are the only potential backups there.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Reyes SSLoDuca CBeltran CFWright DHValentin 2BFranco 1BChavez LFWoodward 3BMilledge RFOnly good thing is that Wright hits about .700 in the cleanup spot.

Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Well, that's not the strongest lineup WWSB ever trotted out there, even last year.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Delgado, Floyd, Nady missing from the "regulars" but we've still got Wright, Beltran, a muchly improved Reyes, and the redhot Valentin... so this is still better than anything we threw out there last year.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 8 times this year we've lost 2 straight - and so far we're 8-0 in that position.Which means .... absolutely nothing.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Author Posted June 29, 2006 Thats how it was formatted in the site I cut and pasted it from. As for the KC Assclown, ZVon found it and KC took it for his avatar over the weekend. I forget who it was in regards to, but someone was mentioning shooting an ass clown and Z made a back-to-back image thing of it
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Already on page 2 before the game starts...good sign, I like it.

Nice. But anyone have any numbers on how he does as a pinch hitter? His role tonight will be similar to that - four (hopefully six) times. I'd guess because he has been a regular since he joined the team, he probably doesn't have much more then 10 at bats, and that may have been in his first year.He may be one of those players who needs to play the field in order to get his juices flowing.Later
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 HaHaHa..Great opening post to the IGT Mr. Rogers. We gotta change it up a lil bit and shake up this team.Get it started Jose!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Jose was safe even without the throw being dropped.
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Live by speed die by speed. Reyes out on the SB attempt.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Whew--we got the call there.Shilling picks off Reyes and we get the safe call. And Reyes jams his fingers.LoDuke pops out and Shills holding Reyes on gets dividends as Reyes tries to steal second and is thrown out by a healthy margin.
