Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Same bat time, same bat channel as the series opener. Kodai (Chrome) Senga makes his season debut vs Andre Pallante who I thought had played with Zidane on the French National team but apparently he's just a 27 y/o RH going into his 5th season with StL. He even started twice vs the Mets in 2025: 6 innings/4 ER in an eventual 4-1 NYM win; then just a few weeks later he also gave up 4 in 3.1 IP in a game the Cards won 5-4 There will be lineups but my sources aren't coming through with the goods quite yet. Either that or that's just what they want me to think.

The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Senga returning to 2023 form (or at least being a solid #3) starter will greatly boost the Mets playoff chances. He has a lot of talent, but has proven to be very fragile. Hoping this is the start of a good, healthy season for Senga.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 31 Posted March 31 Forecast calls for Brazoban. Mets yet to see a lefty starter in 2026. Looks like they are getting Matthew Liberatore tomorrow though.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I actually meant to congratulate Vientos for cracking the lineup (Baty?). But the dog was scratching to go out and I got fused.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted March 31 Posted March 31 I'm watching the pre-game on SNY which I rarely do , but it's on the TV app and I don't want to go out and come back into the app, Zeile talks a mile a minute
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted March 31 Posted March 31 OMFG ,the game is on and I'm watching the pre-game, this app and SNY integration is awful

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Whether black jerseys or blue, I do not understand the lettering and numbering on the front and back being the same color, leaving the outline all that articulates the letters and numbers. It provides no meaningful contrast.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Yeah, not a fan of the blue road jerseys and the New York in script.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Yeah it's a smeared smurf of a color scheme. Senga throwing darts
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Pallante is always shaking his glove, flapping it open and closed, that he never really comes to a stop.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Just seems like they should be strafing Pallante, but they're not.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Robert channelling O'Neil Cruz there.....
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 1 Posted April 1 What I said about Robert arcing the ball over the cutoff man? It just became a thingaling. MFS62 1
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 Should be able to hit Cards pitching. Lots of game left.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I like the jerseys, but I think they would look much better with the letters and numbers outlined in white. The team looks really flat tonight.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 The season to date has been the art of never getting more than one hit per inning.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I'm watching on my iPad with the sounds down low because my wife is watching a movie. Why is Gelbs eating a hot dog?
