Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Final Tuesday Night Mets tilt of the year. We upgraded to the 300s for this one Alonso is a quality Tuesday Night player; he whalloped his club record homer on a Tuesday last year, so I'm fully expecting 1 or 3 homers tonight. whippoorwill 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Are you in homerun territory? Because after the LWFS family recovered the Alvarez homer, I think our group is kinda hot right now.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The TNMC has been around and decided behind home plate is the place to be whippoorwill 1

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If Encarnacion-Strand gets on base and doesn't score, does he have to change his name to Encarnacion-Stranded? Later

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Oh good a Merck commercial. I'm gonna take a quick break and go Merck off in the corner Edgy MD and MFS62 2
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'm telling you, Alonso hasn't come to town to set a mark. He's come to town to lose one.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Shane Baz Brett Baty Both #12 overall picks.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Howie is telling the story of how Orioles catcher Pozo had a son born with serious health complications, the year COVID shut down the minor leagues. He lost his salary, he lost his health insurance, and their family was living out of a car in Orlando, FL. A story of perseverance, sure, but Howie is missing the point about what a disgrace it is for his then organization (the Rangers), for baseball, for Florida, and for the United States. MFS62 1
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Manaea out after only 67 pitches. What's the point of conserving your pitches if the manager is going to hook you anyhow? The added insult is that he got hooked with one out and nobody on because Alonso was up, making him look soft. And Howie has twice now called Austin Warren (who whiffed Alonso on three pitches) "Will Warren." Is that some hockey guy he's confused over?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Nate Lavender is back in business! Too bad Zebulon Vermillion only managed one inning in four seasons. The Color Club never got to be.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Nate Lavender: 5 batters 5 outs 4 strikeouts Still awesome.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Semien reaches first as Alonso can't handle the throw in the dirt. Drama!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Replay review crew in Chelsea is killing the Mets tonight.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Two more absolute and abysmal failures by MLB with replay.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Good thing they're only overturning calls when there's clear evidence. Meanwhile, a lot of LOBsters again tonight.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Now we're going to need Lindor to win it in the ninth.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago So with Pete's 300th HR there's only one way for this game to end now. Hint: it involves Lindor batting in the bottom of the 9th
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Two back-to-back outings for reliever Senga ... both resulted in a HR (one game winning, one game tying).
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m so happy for Pete! incredible that a visiting player just got a curtain call - after tying the game - has that ever happened before!?
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Also… f—- David Stearns. I don’t mean fire.
