Not to beat a dead horse, but I truly hope we see some actual young guys and prospects, not just 5 Quadruple-A retreads.

Some of the guys we're going to see down the stretch will be guys we already know, but have been hurt all year — like Dedniel Núñez and the like.  Other bullpenners will be be guys that have been on the shuttle but maybe will get a longer looksee.

But yeah, I look forward to some prospecty prospects.

According to DiComo, Rojas now becomes the highest rated prospect in the entire Mets farm system (based on MLB Pipeline rankings).

Rojas is an above-average runner with average ability at shortstop. He’s likely to move to third or second base long-term. Rojas has performed in 2026, hitting .270/.339/.461 with 15 home runs and 17 stolen bases.
