Good pen or bad pen, I always recommend trying to get one more out from the guy that's already getting the job done.

I would have gone with Garrett a second inning. He was well rested, he threw 12 pitches in the 6th, and the bottom of the Brewers order was due up. That seems like the precise scenario to get a second inning out of him, particularly with Maton and Diaz having such high workloads.
