Woah!



I think if you asked me earlier today I would've said my preference was for Bryant. But damn, it's not like I wouldn't want Baez instead. I'm a fairly happy camper about this. Wonder what's going back.

Not happy losing Crow-Armstrong for a rental, even if it is Baez.



When Lindor comes back I assume he plays second and Squirrel is the odd mammal out.

McNeil doesnt move to 3rd and displace Davis against righties?



i cant imagine they gave up mcneil and Crow-Armstrong for a rental, right??

Baez plays a lot of positions well, which means we will have options when Lindor comes back.



I worry that he's become too one dimensional as a hitter and our park won't reward that.



His career year came under Chili Davis's watch.



Given the scarcity of good center fielders, I'd have given up somebody other than Armstrong.



McNeil is under control for three more seasons and has four game-winning hits this past month. His career OPS+ beats Baez by 30 points. The goal is to win, right?

The only negative I can think of with PCA is that with this year's injury in 2022 he won't have played regularly for 2 years.

yeah if McNeil is involved this is a fleecing by the Cubs.



i would have preferred Bryant by a long shot to Baez.
