Baez plays a lot of positions well, which means we will have options when Lindor comes back.



I worry that he's become too one dimensional as a hitter and our park won't reward that.



His career year came under Chili Davis's watch.



Given the scarcity of good center fielders, I'd have given up somebody other than Armstrong.



McNeil is under control for three more seasons and has four game-winning hits this past month. His career OPS+ beats Baez by 30 points. The goal is to win, right?

The only negative I can think of with PCA is that with this year's injury in 2022 he won't have played regularly for 2 years.
