so somewhere the information must available as to what pct of innings produce runs starting with this runner-on-2nd situation.

My guess is that it's over 50% but I don't know that.

I was curious too, so I poked around and found a Fangraphs article analyzing last season. Looks like there were 212 extra half-innings last year, and at least one run was scored in 120 of them.

I predict the Marlins open with a leadoff double. It'll take place so fast that the guy will be standing there on second before we even get back from the commercial.

FOUR teams have scored 10 or more runs tonight (ATL scored 20). It's hard to believe that it's possible watching the Mets.
