Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Grr. Lucchesi. https://static3.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Rocket-Guardians-Of-The-Galaxy-Vol-2-Official-Poster-Cropped.jpg?q=50&fit=crop&w=960&h=500&dpr=1.5>
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Ooooh! A picture of a rat!I'd rather see Yamamoto than Lucchesi. We've seen enough of Lucchesi for a while.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Merrill Kelly sounds like the name of a singer.Have to believe Lucheeze gets yanked from the rotation if he blows chunks today
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Forecast is not optimistic, with rain tonight and tomorrow. They're going to wind up playing like 32 games in 20 days in August & September.

G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Reid-Foley was sent down this week. Can't come back yet.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 The sun is out.So Lindor and McNeil went at it. Yeesh.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 How long until 'Covid Protocol' is a band name?Hell, it probably is already.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 HR for a young boy named Rocky Raccoon
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Pillar making us not miss Zimmo that much. Smith playing like he's the one who loses ABs when it happens
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 This game he's having, I'm wondering who _Pillar_ hand-thrashed in the dugout tonight, is what I'm wondering

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Thought that too. As the 8th hitter he's got to not be a complete zilch up there. But here we are.Encouraging signs of life from Lindor.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 I've grown weary of Lucchesi. Three innings and a cloud of dust, this guy.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Weird line score so far, the two teams are a combined 4 runs on 5 hits with 4 errors
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Familia looking sharp in general. His stuff and control have been vintage for the last 3-4 weeks.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Typical Familia inning- weak contact that leads to base hits.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 But even here in his second inning, the two hits have been super-soft.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 (edited) 'three of the softest hits you'll ever see' Edited May 8, 2021 by Guest
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Didn't get the called strike. Phantom foul tip. Such bad luck.
