Worst case scenario for Bauer: he's a psychopath.

Yup. And I know it's very dangerous to start suggesting that every douchebag out there is a rapist, but damn, if he didn't give off some pretty clear warning signs.

And even more to the point, I don't see how Bauer could possibly come out of this unscathed, even if the incident was entirely consensual. He's never gonna live this down because thiis just gruesome. He's gonna have to go beyond proving consent. He's gonna have to convince the authorities and the public that he wasn't responsible for her injuries -- but that they were either self-inflicted or inflicted by somebody else. And he may be already locked into statements that rule this out.

He's just fucked a zillion ways over. In a worst case scenario where he's found guilty of criminal conduct, not only will he face likely incarceration, but I'm wondering if there's a morals clause in his contract that would allow the Dodgers to void the rest of Bauer's record-setting contract.



Proving that the incident was consensual will keep Bauer out of jail, but that's just the tip of the iceberg of problems that he's brought on himself.

it's not even worth worrying about. It wasn't consensual and the cops baited and recorded conversations between them. He's rich though and her statement even made some "go to therapy" type concessions. They'll settle and most people will just ignore it. Dodgers won't even sit him down here.

New text messages revealed. The reason I wrote yesterday that I wanted to hear more of Bauer's side of the story was because some of the accuser's story didnt add up. Why, during their first encounter, didnt she leave right away when she regained consciousness, instead staying with Bauer for several hours? Why did she then have a second encounter with Bauer?

I'm just spitballing here but one possibility is that the sex, though violent and very kinky, was entirely consensual and that initially, the accuser had no intention of making accusations against Bauer. But then Bauer ended their relationship and that's when the accusations began to fly.
