CPF ESPN NL Only League 2019

I know the auction style is the thing around here, but if there's enough interest in a more traditional style league done on Yahoo or ESPN I'd be happy to participate and even set the league up.

Well I personally would want to do an NL only league. I don't really care between ESPN and Yahoo, if it's not for money, I prefer Yahoo for my own $ league but that's just me. I'd say for it to at least be fun we'd need at least 8, and preferably 10. The nice thing about single leagues is you can make do with less owners.

NL only works with 8. If we get to 12 we should combine it. 10 I could go either way.

Well we're stuck at 5. I agree, 8 would be super for NL only.

We will give this a few more days to see if any other CPF'ers are interested - otherwise I can check with a couple of buddies of mine who are fans of other NL teams, to see if we can get up to 8 and get a league going.

I would love to, but I can't mentally manage more than one team or it takes up way more time than it should in my life. Sorry!

I mean, this will be set up similar to a league I have done with ABNS for the last several years that is tons of fun.



Weekly lineup changes, and week to week scoring, which means, really, you log in on Sunday night, see who is hot/cold on your team over the last week, maybe make a free agent swap or two, and set your lineup for the upcoming week. Each week is a new matchup and a clean slate. And then there are playoffs in September.



But it's OK, I am still thinking I can find a few others willing to join if this isn't your thing. We have 5 here and I can scare up 3 others I reckon.

We need BMFC then. I see that Ceetar came around too, that gives us 6. So we'll just need to find 2 others on Reddit or the mean streets.

You all will see, with weekly roster moves, you can really manage your team for this league by looking at your roster on Sunday nights and spending 5-10 minutes setting your lineup for the week, picking up hot players off waivers, etc. That's how I do it in ABNS' other league that uses a similar scoring/roster style and it works out great.
