Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Prime time, meaning, the dreadful ESPN broadcast and (I'm guessing) an endless Nats love-fest, despite them being a clearly inferior team.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 The Mets have a tendency to save their most dreadful performances for the national audience in prime time on ESPN.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Oh man. How nice would it be to sweep these guys and send a message. So giddy. Come on Harv!!!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 So how soon before the Nats start bitching about ball/strike calls tonight?

Come on Harv!!!Coming in to this series, I would have been delighted with two out of three. But now that a sweep is within our grasp, I really want that third win!

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 I'm very superstitious, and s***p is like a four letter word that should not be used before the game. I cringe when I hear sportscasters use the word. And the fact that it will be a Sunday night game on ESPN is making me antsier.I prefer they say something like "The Mets have won the first two games of the series" and let it go at that. On second thought, a true fan knows they won the first two games of the series. LGM!Later
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Does Yo sit tonight? He was 0 for 5 yesterday, isn't a fan of the cold, and it would allow Nimmo, Conforto and Bruce to play (RHP for WSH).ANSWER: WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 The production values of that video deserved better than that song.I always preferred Goody Two Shoes. I believe that was an homage to the ten inch platform shoes he needed to reach the door knob.(Channeling his best announcer's voice) And nowwww, back to tonight's game.Later
