Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Well, they missed Scherzer and Murphy was hurt, so we probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves just yet. I didn't like the look of Harvey; he's still inconsistent. And jeez, just intentionally walk Harper in all situations, please.

That sorta thing might very well be why the Mets end up with the division title.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 That lineup looks deadly even without Murphy. Harper is Harper. Rendon is a terrific hitter and may actually be underrated. Eaton is your deal leadoff guy.All we can hope for is regression from Zimmerman, for Turner to not pan out, and for a few guys to get injured.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Or for Harper to be traded to the American League before July 31. If the season progresses in a way that makes that happen, it will be a very good sign for the Mets.
