  1. Former Mets: Hurdle, hitting coach Jay Bell, and pitching coach Ray Searage, and coach Dave Jauss.
  2. Baseball pornography: Matt Harvey, makin' 'em miss. http://www.baseballnation.com/2013/5/8/4312710/matt-harvey-strikeouts-fastball-changeup-pornography
  3. Octavio Dotel, cardless here but On Every Team. Dotel has cards for almost all of his stops; just missing a Pirates card and a Rockies card.
  4. Former Met farmhand Lenny DiNardo no-hit the Dux last night.
  5. Multiple Jason Bays: totally unnecessary.
  6. "Qualls," not "quails," yes?
  7. Harvey 6 Baxter 2 Parnell 1 Davis 0.5 Lagares 0.5
  8. My love for Matt Harvey is deep and strong.
  9. When you think White Sox second basemen, you think Julio Cruz. But he retired a long time ago, so now it's Jeff Keppinger, who we know because he was a Met and is terrible. .194/.191/.213 so far this year.
  10. Bleeding and throwing 96. SUCK IT, SCHILLING.
  11. Edgy MD wrote: Harvey at home. How could Keith be missing this game? Hampies traffic?
  12. Anyone else sign up for the volunteer thing? I got the e-mail yesterday.

  14. I don't know how 'Spin escaped a broken nose there. Yeesh.
  15. Looked up why Roy Lee Jackson pinch-hit in the second inning in 1980; that was Craig Swan's last start before losing the rest of that season to a rotator-cuff injury. Jackson didn't then come in to pitch; Pete Falcone pitched the last seven innings and got the W.
  16. Mike Hampton. And going further back, Ronnie and Doc and Sid.
  17. STOP CONFUSING MY MEMORIES WITH ACTUAL HISTORY

  20. But that means he's close! It's chronological until you get to Ron Darling, so I have no earthly clue.
  21. You have to let him work it out. He has no trade value right now, and he's not going to get any better in Las Vegas or Binghamton. You need him to get through it.
  22. Yes, because that's a Topps Traded card. His regular series card pictured him as a Red. Yes to the Paciorek question, though. And I really wish Octavio Dotel wasn't a Tiger again this year. I want him to be with a different franchise every year, to make that record totally unbreakable.
  23. Missed this game last night, and I'm glad I did. However... Frayed Knot wrote: Meanwhile, we can't touch their just-called-up reliever through three straight innings. ...because that just-called-up reliever bleeds Seawolves red. Nice job, TK.
