I'm all about different strokes for different folks. I rarely get to use that expression literally. Well played, there.
  2. Vargas had a rotten 2nd half, but, BUT, if you look, his September numbers (albeit against callups, sure) were better than the July/August shitfest he put out there. I'm a "half full" guy, though.
  3. It's a fantastic term. Rub up on some gal till you pop off (with her consent, natch). I was raised on this kind of activity.
  4. This site is the shit-dot-com! It'll be even better when the 2019 AAA Mets are here locally in my backyard.
  5. Tommy Milone, on a minor league deal with the Nats. Which means I'm likely to see him pitch here in the 'Cuse in their last year as a Nats affiliate.
  6. As long as that tubby fuck can pitch.
  7. I just hope A-Rod is lurking in a corner somewhere, feeling jilted. It completes the picture.
  8. Damn, pro athletes. She looks pretty bendy to me.

  10. I'm all done with the Thumbs guy. Like, the instant I heard about him.
  11. Eric Campbell, back from Japan (where he presumably sucked), on a minor league deal with the Miami Fish.
  12. Reasonable rate to get him for 2 years/17 mil. Got a lot of guys in this lineup who could potentially hit .235, though, and that makes me nervous.
  13. That's what the wang is for, is to clang. If not that, then what else, I ask?
  14. I'm fine with this move.
  15. Pitched the greatest game I ever attended, game #161 in 2008, last home win ever at Shea, 2-0 shutout of the Marlins with the season on the line and a torn MCL in his knee. Mad respect.
  16. It is the Book of Genesis for the CPF.
  17. Pete LaCock is my "working name."
  18. Hell if I know.
  19. Big fan of this deal. He raked as a Met, showed that the park and the town wasn't going to get into his head. Seems like a stand up guy.
  20. Syracuse Mets, love it. I will buy fucktons of merch that say that.
  21. I want Bruce back. He's the only guy on this list that's shown he can be a productive Met. Plus, Anna Benson, I can find videos of her in a pinch, or, you know, videos of 50 chicks who will do all the things you'd assume she'd do if you plied her full enough of Boone's wine.
  22. Matt Lawton?
  23. Edgy MD wrote: I got scrod by Ticketmaster and arbitrary rules at different outlets for the Stones and for the 1989 U2 shows as well. What a messed-up system. What I enjoyed about the show from the perspective of the horrid nosebleed seats I did manage to get was that it was their first real tour in eight or nine years, and so rather than merely include the de rigueur two singles from the latest album ("Mixed Emotions" and "Rock and a Hard Place") in the standard hits lineup, they included all the neglected singles from the interim years, and so many of the likes "One Hit to the Body," "Too Much Blood," "Undercover of the Night," "She Was Hot," and "Harlem Shuffle" got an airing they hadn't gotten before or since. That said, checking setlist.fm, I see no appearances by "Too Much Blood," so clearly my memory of their mini-set of catching up on the eighties singles is distorted. We scored amazing seats at the local Ticketmaster, thanks to buddies of mine who camped out overnight. Tenth row, stage left, for the Thursday night October 26th show. Still the greatest night of live music I've ever experienced. Being on the field, at Shea, certainly had something to do with it.
