    Hell, why not have 9 DH's? Have an offensive team and a defensive team. Lots of crappy-hitting shortstops and catchers, too. Every year the NL holds off the advance of the DH is a good year.

    I have no idea if there will be a collapse this time around, but if there is, I'll kind of look forward to it. Nice to know that he enjoys the suffering of others. And deep inside, I think a lot of Mets fans will, too. This is the dead giveaway. This is the Yankee-fan version of how they think Met fans think. "They don't root for the Yankees, so they must secretly enjoy losing."

    Gelbs looks and acts like that kid who regularly got beat up in high school for being too smarmy. He's developed no chemistry whatsoever with the 'guys'. Alexa would be fun if only to give Keith an aneurysm. This is after all the man who, when seeing a shot of the Padres' assistant trainer during the game exclaimed, "Wait, what's a GIRL doing in the dugout?!?!?"
