  1. Tebow finally cut after the game. See ya, meat.
  2. Yup. And I realize it's only 30 ABs, but another 0-4 for Gonzalez, dropping that OPS to .442. Yo with his little injuries. And Jose Reyes really can't wait til July to get going like he did last year. #worried
  3. Zimmo 2.0! BA at .364. OPS approaching 1.200. Go young man, go.
  4. Tebow strangely getting a ton of opportunities despite looking completely overmatched.

  6. 3/13, sir. Looks like split-squad action today. The Houston game (Gerrit Cole v. Syndergaard) is on radio, the nightcap on MLB network, yall.
  7. It would be cool to see a player like Altuve, who seems to have visible disdain for Trump and was just "playfully" made fun of for being so short, refuse to shake his hand and say "No thanks, I don't respect you", then just stare and smile at that piece of shit human being. I would pay admission to watch that.

  9. All good, dudes. Was just putting my name out in case of emergency. If you guys need me next year, just holler.
  10. If everyone else falls though and you need an extra dude, I can play. I was terrible a few years ago at keeping up with the daily lineup changes, but work has me in front of a desk 5 days/week, so I'd be more reliable nowadays. LMK, fellas.
  11. My heart holds out hope he can get back to his 2016, age-34 level: .285/.349/.435, 18 homers, 90 rib-eye steaks. My brain, however, thinks my heart has shit-for-brains and says 2018 Adrian goes something like .255/.335/.415, 12 homers, 45 RBI, 375 PA.
  12. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: I was never big on this guy but can see the reasons they did it. I sometimes wish they were more creative. You can't really dream on Frazier (or Bruce, or Cabrera, or Gonzalez) to be anything more than what they were; only less is imaginable. This guy is not going to suddenly hit 320 and cut down on the whiffs. You are right he's the perfect model of today's ideal ballplayer Man, I couldn't agree more. The Mets def have a bunch of Major Leaguers that should be able to win a game on any given night and should rarely be embarrassing. Very known quantities, if a little boring. Frazier, is to the Mets, reliably, safely and comfortably mediocre. I predict his '17 more or less again. .220/.330/.430, something like 25 homers. Eventually learns everyone's names, but still calls people BIG DAWG just because.
  13. I got here in time to watch Stanton hit a monstrosity off Harvey in the 5th. He gave up 5 runs but made it to the 5th. Anyone see if he looked at all good?
  14. Ashie62 wrote: Mike Plawecki for starting catcher ** No way, dude. Steve d’Arnaud.
  15. that handle is solid gold.
  16. Guys, this isn't 25 Met games. It's 25 MLB games. Frayed Knot wrote: So, stupid question here, is 'FACEBOOK WATCH' available to those who aren't a member of FACEBOOK? I don't know, but I would guess no. If whatshisname CEO, the future president guy, paid however many millions for rights to stream these games to people for free, he's gonna want to mine some data for his $$.
  17. Not 25 Met games, as I read that. So maybe a game off for G/K/R. Is this MLB trying to appeal to the youth and show off the new, faster game complete with TOTALLY COOL bullpen carts?
  18. He gives up another single, but gets a DP and slithers out of the inning getting Miguel Cabrera to fly out. Robles not instilling me with lots of CAHN
  19. First four hitters for Robles go single, double, homer, homer.
  20. And Matz is done and his spring is suddenly on-track. Hopefully. Robles, your turn to not suck, please.
  21. ERA down to a svelte 15.88!
  22. Matz through 2 scoreless. His ERA has dropped like 30 runs per 9.
  23. Kevin goes PLOWECKI! 1-nil Mets.
  24. Well quit lurking, Ben, and give us your expectations for Matt den Dekker already!
  25. Yah Joe Petruccio does the daily watercolor (?) recaps. I thought he posted here at one point. I guess not, unless he used a diff name. I wanna know who parked "Go to Hell, Mike Piazza!"??
