I think the position most affecting Bichette is his bat position. I heard one of the announcers talking about how Bo is wrapping the bat more than he did in the past. I don’t know why he would tinker and take on a new swing. Go back to what got you here.

The schedule in June really has the potential to bury this team. The four game streak is nice. I’d be shocked if they’re not back to double digits below .500 at the end of this trip.

I know it didn’t end up mattering. But let’s not let the idiotic squeeze pass without being mentioned. When you have first and third and no one out, the only thing that can’t happen is to have the runner on third make an out. You either have to score, or have a runner on third with one out. Three times this year, that runner on third took himself off the bases. It’s inexcusable and it keeps happening because our manager is a fucking moron.

That lineup is not going to score runs.

That doesn’t seem good at all. Maybe he can be a one inning reliever.

He’s got a .440 SLG. He doesn’t hit for enough power to strike out that much.

I guess Young for now, Clifford eventually. Clifford is striking out nearly 40% at AAA. I have little confidence he can stick as a legitimate big leaguer. This may be a question mark for a while. If you look at this upcoming free agent class, there’s nothing there.
