    Now that I’ve had some time to digest this, that was a strange play. I mean, he knew how tightly packed in they were before the ball was hit. He also knows that if it’s not hit right at you, you’re probably not getting the runner. Why not trust your teammate to make the play instead of ramming into him?

    I think part of it is that they had an all time closer for a generation. This type of thing simply didn’t happen that often. Now that they have mortals in the ninth inning again, things are more evened out.

    The Dave Mlicki game. The Matt Franco game. The David Wright game. Carlos Delgado had a doubleheader. On the flip side, they have the Luis Castillo game. I think we just added the Luke Weaver game and the Tyrone Taylor game. If I’m not mistaken, I think we have a commanding lead in eponymous games.
