Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Like many of you, got an email today about some pre-sale ticket thing thatstarts tomorrow at 10 am. Guess I'll try and get an Opening Day and UncleBartolo Number Retirement Day ticket? Lazy Q, what date is that again?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I'm looking at Opening Day and August 19. Beyond that I'm playing the season by ear.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Her son's half birthday.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 And it's after my younger son's 21st birthday, so we'll be able to buy him a beer or two at the ballgame (or hey, he can buy me one!).

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 So was this just a come on to get people to go look at ticket plans?I couldn't find any single-game links on the page I was sent to.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 You got a different email than I did, mine was some Mets Insider thingand my code is/was NOAH. I'm gambling that I might be going a differentticket route so I'm cool for now.

(I imagine anyway. Maybe the partners one has something less obvious, like FredWilponIsTheBest)edit: guessed the Social Media one. It's Cabrera.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 I caved on the "no-fee" online offer this week and went in for the Tuesday Night Plan (no postseason benefits!).Seems like they have either a) sold a lot more tickets by now than they had when I acquired the 2016 Tuesdays last March; made shittier tickets available for this offer, or both, but we have generally been moved up a few rows from our customary and very modest 500-Promenade-behind-the-plate seats, in some cases, moving to Promenade-3rd-base-line.What's the deal? Are the Mets really selling more tickets this year?

I'd be they're selling more tickets, yes. Also I'd bet they're breaking them up into smaller blocks of availability to different offers expecting to be able to sell the others in different random offers or just on the fly.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Fboy and I are most likely to take our annual sojourn during one of these three summer weekday matinees, the only ones on the schedule during the vacation weeks this year.Thurs July 20 12:10 vs StLWed Aug 9 12:10 vs TexThurs Aug 24 12:10 vs D-Backs
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 One other weird thing, they "cut me off" at 10 pairs of tickets in that offer, even though I intended to buy 11 (one for each home Tuesday). Not a big deal I suppose as we can pick up a pair for the final Tuesday home game (aka "clinch Nite" Sept. 26 vs. Braves).btw we should do a cpf meetup game this season, or maybe a preseason drinking practice or something this year.

I know it's not your favorite spot but Fboy and I do like the upper deck promenade seats, as long as they're on the infield. He had trouble following the game from the left field seats we had when we met up with you and D-Dad two years ago.Better seats in lower rows are also fine, as long as they're on the infield, I suppose.

Enjoyed that last time. (Does anyone have the pic we took on the Shea Bridge? Did we even take a pic?)

We could luck out and get something somewhat lower at a good price.

Fgirl and I could sit out in the sun all day and we'd be fine.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I want to go to the game in May where they're giving out David Wright Starting Lineup figures. OLD SCHOOL, BABY.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Personally? I am holding out for Jay Bruce bobblehead day.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Well, they either closed that window I posted about the other day or soldall the tickets. I may have to buy a pair on the secondary market and finda partner. KB can't go, tax season.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 The wife and I will be in NYC June 12th-16th so we will be attending the 06/15/17 game vs. the Washington Nationals at Citi Field.I also picked up a ticket to sit with the 7 Line Army in Seattle on 07/29/17 when the Mariners host the Mets.Planning on (but haven't bought tickets for) a couple of games when the Mets visit Milwaukee and Chicago this year as well.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 If all goes according to plan, flying down to PSL on Sunday to watch Mets-Marlins with a friend who works for JetBlue.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Snagged Opening Day tickets from a vendor! Yahtzee!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Tickets for 7/20 matinee are bought! Me and Fboy and Metfairy and a buddy of mine from up here will be in 326, in the shade, watching some Mets baseball. Should be fun.
