Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Going up against a top pitching legend is going to be tough. But, who knows, Kershaw just may be good enough to handle it.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I was in the wrong thread. And that was such a smarty pants comment I wasted.Well, we've seen worse. Cabrera saved his ass. Our ass.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 You guys are going to be pissed when you read about the comeback tomorrow morning!Who am I kidding. I'm probably done in another inning or two.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 You heard that. 80-0. Break out the cards. A deck of cards, not baseball cards.Didn't we used to have a game room?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 If you let him hit homers he'll never retire King B.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 The goal for the night has changed: Don't get no-hit.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I wouldn't have a problem if they did. We do owe them one. But lets come back first. Was that a hit I just saw?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 We can't do better than send De Aza against Kershaw as a pinch-hitter?I'd've taken my chances with Coln.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 welcome back, Gil Martin.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Okay Gary. I think we know by now how great Kershaw is already.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 A lot of guys swinging at balls at the shins. Lefties, righties, everybody.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Well, I didn't expect to win this one but I did expect Colon to hit a homer. *sigh
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Bartolo tired himself out with all that running around the bases in the last game. When Gilmartin was brought up, he might have thought:"YAYYY! I'm being brought up.I'm getting away from those hitter friendly PCL ballparks. We're going to Colorado?CRAP!"He didn't think he would be pitching in LA. Good appearance for him.LaterLater
