It's nice to hear that it's not serious, but I won't really believe that until Harvey is back on the mound again. I can't help but remember how Ike Davis was day-to-day in May 2011 but we never saw him again that season.

I get those, the blood clots in the bladder. Been getting them for over thirty years, once or twice a year. No reason to assume it's something bad, but yeah, you do need to have something like that tested.

Kind of disappointed how this whole thing played out. Harvey has a mystery ailment, Mets Twitter says some dumb things, Harvey now acting petulant about what was said. It all just leaves a bad taste.

I get that Harvey is a douchebag and shouldn't talk about 3 ways on TV. So yes, part of this is that he brings it on himself. I wish he was less douchy.

But the twitter users should be more respectful. At the end of the day, Matt Harvey is a human being, and anyone who has to go to the doctor to get tests run is dealing with something. You can't help but think of the worst case scenario. It's a scary time for anyone. I get that he's a public figure, but this is his health. And not like rotator cuff health, like actual health. Just...I don't know. Don't be a dick.

And then there's Harvey reading about it and commenting. What the fuck did you think you would read? Just ignore it. Don't read it. And if you read it, don't whine about it. Just for once, can you act like you are above the petty shit?

Hard (for me) to think it's really, "Harvey got some bad strange, they're
