We should have some kind of meet-up before The PiazzaGame. Beers in bags on Roosevelt Ave, McF's, Irish bar in Woodside... something.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 D-Dad and I have one extra ticket for this Saturday's 1986 Reunion game. If anyone is interested in purchasing our spare, send me a message.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Looks like I'm skipping work for a high Colonic (with YoungerPooper, a visiting college buddy and his little one) next Wednesday.

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I haven't gotten a ticket yet, but that Wed afternoon game againstthe Royals next week is barking at me to attend...
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I intend to be at Monday's Cubs-Cardinals game, apropos of nothing, biz-tripping
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Wow, got tickets from a vendor for 7/30- Mike's number 31 getting retired. But oh, the irony- we'll be in section 134, one of the few places where you won't be able to see it directly as we'll be right behind the numbers by the [crossout:13t8prh0]Party City[/crossout:13t8prh0] M&M's deck.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 Going to the game today, apparently -- father's day gift from the kiddos. Score!
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2016 Posted June 19, 2016 I'm at the game today. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers and kids out there. And to all the mothers that helped make it happen.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Got a cheapie for Wed matinee. Gonna do the wandering-around-ballpark-with-Howie thing.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 Went the opposite route for Wednesday, as I'm taking a buddy and his kid for their CitiField debuts (along with YoungerPooper)-- Field Level for less than fitty! (Thanks, daygame Stubhub!)

(Thanks, daygame Stubhub!)I bought mine on viagogo.com -- first time using that site and quite a bit cheaper than Schlub Hub or Mets.com. Got 3 upper deck infield seats for $63, including all fees and surcharges. Cheaper than the face value of the tickets, in fact.

Guest cooby Guests Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 What do you do on a Saturday night when your hotel is a block from the ball field and you have nothing to do? Go to another game! This time we will be behind home plate. I think the game is on ESPN since its at 8 so watch for us. I think I'll have on a sky blue shirt and hubby a pirates shirt.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2016 Posted July 26, 2016 Will be there with Fboy on Thursday and another buddy of mine who is a big Mets fan. Up in 508, if you're going to be there, give me a shout out so we can have some beers and talk about our lady-feelings. Send me a PM here or on Facebook to let me know...Also, because I live upstate and don't know the answer, my buddy is riding down with us and then planning on taking the train into Manhattan to meet his family for a long weekend -- can he just walk up to the 7 train gate (it is the 7, right?) after the game and buy his ticket, and walk on there with a suitcase? Or does he need to buy his ticket in advance, or is there an advantage to doing so?I don't know the trains well enough to be able to say -- aside from taking the Metro North in and out of Manhattan from Poughkeepsie, I have not ever ridden in or out of the city on a subway.
