Granderson speaks for the Mets:

Posted (edited)

So my prediction was off by one batter and 3 innings (in game three) and two games. I think it's about time I was taken seriously.

I'm starting to have more faith in Duda, Conforto and Flores than in Wright, Murphy and Cespedes.

I'm in the bar for hipster midwesterners. Easily a half dozen KC fans here.

Duda should scratch EV in the dirt at home plate.

Volquez has a lot of movement on this pitches.

I'm about to have a movement of my own over here, from listening to these sucks.

Let's hope you don't have any movement while he does that.

After this series is over I'm going to go back and count the number of times that the Royals have come up in GiDP situations (man on 1st, or 1st & 2nd, < 2 outs) and not hit into a GiDP even though they hit a grounder to the infield at the time. I've lost track but it's at least 5 or 6 so far. It's like they specialize in hitting grounders/bouncers too shitty to turn two even though we know there's no skill for actually doing that. Tonight it was the catcher Perez who managed to avoid it even though he's probably one of the ten slowest guys in MLB.

I'm at a bar in the actual Midwest. Guy next to me just ordered a bacon cheeseburger with egg while discussing which hotel in Vegas has the best swimming pool. I don't need to ask who he's rooting for.

FINALLY!!!!

I believe our only DP turned this series had been the K/interference on the SB thing.

FUCK YOU BUCK AND REYNOLDS. WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOU THE YANKEES?

Contractual obligation. FOX and MLB look out for the glamour franchises.
