Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 (edited) Got to be taking some pride in Harvey's/deGrom's success, no?Speaking of which... the fastballs work FINE, as long as you're keeping the hitters off-balance. And, y'know, throwing them. Edited November 1, 2015 by Guest
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 FUCK YOU ROYALS. THIS IS THE REAL MATT HARVEY.

Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Omar couldn't even hire a third base coach who knew what he was doing. Does anyone remember this?
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Harvey struck out the side. But the Royals never strike out.Harvey struck out the side!!!!

Does anyone remember this?Omar had an eye for talent.I mean, he had no idea how to build/maintain an apparatus for successfully developing that talent, but he sure could pick it out, and give it a guaranteed five-year deal (even when it was only asking for three).

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 This offense looks lost. Maybe Sandy can make a trade.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Just scoring one run won't work, guys.Wonder if Carlos Gomez would have had a better World Series.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 The Mets need more runs. Harvey really seems to have his A game, but it would be great if the offense would give him a little cushion to work with. I don't want to see this become a battle of the bullpens late.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 One run ain't enough to build our kingdom on.But it's sure nice to see Harvey missing bats.

Harvey not playing around.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Inside, apparently. Gordon's gotten a lot better at plate discipline than he used to be, by the way.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Harvey may punch Terry if Terry tries to pull him
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Wow Harvey is on, need runs though!

Of course, without Cespedes, it likely would not have mattered since I doubt the Mets would be playing in November had Sandy completed the Gomez deal. Plus, if we did make the Series, our shortstop would likely be Uribe.Well, enough of this what if stuff. It's time for the Mets to score some damn runs.
