Omar had an eye for talent.

I mean, he had no idea how to build/maintain an apparatus for successfully developing that talent, but he sure could pick it out, and give it a guaranteed five-year deal (even when it was only asking for three).

Very poosible, because Cespedes really hasn't done much at all (either with the bat or glove) in the series. Of course, without Cespedes, it likely would not have mattered since I doubt the Mets would be playing in November had Sandy completed the Gomez deal. Plus, if we did make the Series, our shortstop would likely be Uribe.

Well, enough of this what if stuff. It's time for the Mets to score some damn runs.
