For starters the offense, outside of Conforto, had 4 singles all night and that includes the two at the tail end.
And all that does is just make the margin for error too small for comfort.

Me too. I don't get that. We made the freakin World Series. Wright homers first at-bat at Citi! Conforto, Super-Rook, goes yard twice! That whole run to get here with PowerMuff. This has been awesome. We are still watching Mets baseball on Halloween!

We all knew that between Murphy & Flores up the middle there was a chance something like this could happen. We blew this one. That's two games we should have won. Now I know that kinda sucks but that's also pretty kool. Main goal now: Don't let them wrap it here.

Nothing's ever easy and nothing's ever ordinary with the Mets in the postseason. And I wouldn't have it any other way. This is fun.
