Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Yeah, good thing we took our starter out after 80 pitches. Fucking genius.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I don't think you can blame Robles for the two errors.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 And all of this will be blamed on Harvey. The NY media is going to crucify him.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Hey, I know what's let's do! Let's throw away the game, throw away the series, throw away the division, and throw away the season. That'll be fun, right?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Geez, at least make these fuckers earn it! They have one freaking hit out of the infield all game and they're about to go up by multiple runs!!
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Boy, they better come out loaded for bear against the Braves, Reds and Phils.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Not all his fault, but this outing could really put a crimp on my Robles man-crush.

Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Well, it was a nice game there for a while.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Scott Boras, pitcher of record.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Bring me the head of Scott Boras.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This isn't Boras's fault. This is all on Terry & Sandy. Let the fuckin' guy pitch, fellas.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Well we're not going to win scoring 1 run in 15 innings against a shitty staff anyway.Making six errors, two mistakes, and four boo-boos in an inning with a few fuck-ups thrown in for good measure just makes sure of it.

HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 That could not possibly have been a more pathetic AB by d'Arnaud leading off there.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I liked it better when the Mets got lots of hits and scored lots of runs.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This is infuriating. I didn't think it would be, but it is.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 1) Not making them get actual hits in order to score runs2) Not making them get the ball in the strike zone in order to record strikeouts
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 This game is a real cock softener.

I was keeping my feelings in check, not sure how it would go as it went down with this pitch limit stuff. And this ended up being the worst possible scenario. Up 1-0. And he only gave up 1 freakin hit. 1! And Harvey could not speak for himself and say "I'm staying in"? I think he could have and should have.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 So, how is O'Flaherty getting innings in a game we still hope to win?
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 How do you know he didn't? Ultimately he doesn't get the choice.
