Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Man, don't be throwing 0-2 fastballs around the plate.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Wow. Makes Rendon look like a fool. 1 out.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Nats have a ton of 2-strike hits today, including the biggie by Ramos.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Whew! Getting past Harper is huge! I certainly feel Much better now.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 There's no way the Mets would or could have come back to win this game during April, May, June and most of July. What a turn around for this team! I have watched 90% of the Mets' games this year and I really didn't think it was possible back then that they could play as well as they have the last several weeks.I was wrong. What a game. LGM!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The IGT had it right, this certainly was a laborious game.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 In all my years hanging with you guys I don't think I have ever seen a more competitive, determined, well rounded and resilient Mets team. That goes back ten years. Remarkable!

Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Tremendous win!Was listening via the MLB app on our way home from Northern Michigan and almost drove off the road after the grannie. Love that this team battles to get back!

Mets led, Niese gagged it up.And, you just missed by one inning. You wouldn't happen to have Pete Rose's phone number, would you?We could make some serious coin when Niese pitches.Later
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Boy, you just KNOW Rose plays at DraftKings.com.There has to be serious thought given to leaving Niese off the (potential) playoff roster at this point.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Like I mentioned last week. 8-5 is a glorious score. Happy it held up. I imagine the Nats are hating 8-5 right about now. What a pleasant score to turn on after a 3 hour plane ride.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Reply on RIGHT NOW. Mets done 5-3. Let's see if they can come back again.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I turned it on too. So much easier to enjoy without the pressure. Oh, and I also have no life.Damn, Carlos Torres hurt himself.
