Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Very nice opposite field RBI double from David.

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Meanwhile, the Phillies are getting pounded in Boston. Sole possession of second place will be ours. Oh yes it will.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Little sticky here to be talking standings. But inning over as I type ...
Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Wow, that was too close for comfort there by Wieters.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I always think of the fake-to-third-throw-to-first move as "The Wendell."[/quote:8qaccssb]Yes, except Turk was better at getting the out.

Valadius Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Where has the time gone? Jose Reyes turns 27 today.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 It feels like Reyes has been with the team forever. He must've been 13 when he was called up.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Are there two professional wrestlers behind home plate?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Can we play these guys 19 times a year like the Yankees do?[/quote:1y9yw1xo]I'm telling you!Not only that but the Yanx have played them four series already this year. Sabathia's 4-0 against them alone.Well at least that means they'll get them less often in the 2nd half. And to top it off the Skanks played Houston tonight before we even get to them. The good news being that we've yet to play the three really sucky teams in the NL this year: Houston, Pittsburgh, and ArizonaHopefully that'll help balance off the fact that we've played more at home to date.
