G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Road is just home, except with a mint on your pillow (I'm assuming the Mets stay in nice places). No more screwing around dichotomy-wise. Win somewhere besides Citi Field, starting NOW!

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 With Bay sitting out one game yesterday, Francoeur is now the only Met who's appeared in every game this season.I wouldn't have guessed that he'd be the guy to win the Iron Man competition this year. He's the only guy on the team who hasn't received a blow all year!
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Maybe he should go to The Airstrip after a game.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Note the switch with Wright and Bay. Bay has 5 homers at OP@CY--it's time for him to get going.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 yes, it's time to win on the road. Crappy teams (and teams we've proven we can beat already and it's another 'psuedo-home' series.) You'd like to win all three, 6-3. it's the road, you'd settle for 5-4. I'm gonna say I want 7-2, because Reyes is going to go on a monster tear and Bay is going to bop a couple of home runs. They'll drop one to Baltimore and one to the Yankees(but not on either Sunday, cause I'll be there) and come home in first place.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Carter wanted, need, and lusted all over that one into the right field bleachers. Good thing Guthrie's a righty. 4-0 good guys.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 RA loads the bases with nobody out, then goes strike strike strike strike strike strike popout and just like that, the O's fail to score. Can we play these guys 19 times a year like the Yankees do?
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Gotta love the bases jammed with no outs and get out of it.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Ugh. Strike em out throw em out DP.Well, I'm not gonna cry when we are up 4-0 and still play aggressively.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 The Dickster just over 70 pitches and is greeted by a Marky double to start the 6th.Phils down 12-1 in the 4th.Woot!On Edit: Not Wiggy. I hate reading games on-line. Cept here of course.
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Anyone else want to see back-to-back CG SO? What kind of pitch count do you keep a knuckleballer missing an elbow ligament on?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Home Plate ump Ed Rapuano shows Tejada who the boss is at the expense of accuracy.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 He'll swing at the next pitch next time, lesson learned.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 I always think of the fake-to-third-throw-to-first move as "The Wendell."
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 In my next life I'm coming back with a knuckle ball.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 You, David Wright. That's some beautiful stuff, son.
