More on how Gaga made the Mets lose.

No DB like a Yankee-lovin' Met-slummin' one.

Lady GaGa is one of the most beloved celebrities in the world,

Wha...?

Uh, isn't that was the link in my post was all about?

My point? My point, fucking Wendell, is that even if the Yankees had swept the series 33-0, we'd still have won.

How is that the stadium that has draconian rules that prohibit laptops and forces people to stay in their seats during "God Bless America (The Extended Dance Remix)" fails to have a dress code to prevent that atrocious attire?

I mean they're all wearing Yankees' jerseys for chrissake!

Y'know, I didn't mind her at all-- MFY proclivities aside-- until she started in with the "privacy demands" of the past week, which strike me as the unfunny-kind-of-funny when coming from such a raging exhibitionist.

Was Madonna this annoying back in the 80's?, I find this one not only annoying but not the least bit interesting.

Bet you're feeling pretty silly now.

I felt a little silly before.

I feel like I'm walking around in an Easter Bunny suit now.

There were several stories over the weekend about her trip into the locker room; IIRC Cano and (who else?) ARod were most interested.
The best part though was about how, in the wake of this tramp getting in, MFY mgmt was scrambling to re-define who was allowed in and under what circumstances. The kicker is that they seemed most upset not by the fact that she weasled her way in somehow but that she did so on a night (Friday) when they lost.

That makes perfect sense to me. Lady GaGa only gets in when they win.

Justin Bieber has exclusive rights after a loss.

It's just that the tortured logic was so much fun to follow: -- OK that's it, no celebrities in the clubhouse ... well maybe if Michael Jordan came by ... but I don't about after a loss ...

In trying to make it seem like they were laying down some hard & fast rule about the sanctity of their clubhouse they still managed to reveal how celeb-hungry they were.

Well, he is prettier, and has a softer, more soothing mouth.

You know, for singing.

"No, look, I'm cool! See, I brought my chubby Latina friend AND my nerdy Asian friend! I have crossover appeal, to YLDBs of all colors. I'm the League of Nations of Suck."

Seriously. Maybe she'll die in a grease fire.

A NY article says that the good lady is over-extending her 15 mins of fame.

Is this the same 15 mins that started when some young hotty was trying to
tell me how awsum she was, like, 3 years ago?

I thought she was joking: "Lady Ga Ga? As in goo-goo-ga-ga?
You'r kiddin me, right?"

She is the new Madonna and she knows exactly what she's doin
with whats she's got.

Blood's a little brutal for my taste. But I wouldn't mind if someone had happened to throw up on him afterward.

Anyway, my new post-loss Moment of Zen.

I really could watch this over and over. Plus it has one of the great matter-of-fact sports headlines of all time. "Yankee Fan On Cellphone Catches Ground Rule Double With His Face."

One must never enjoy the physical suffering of another human being. It's mean and it brings bad karma.

But oh man...

Are you kidding?!? Fans getting snacked in the face because they're on a celly is the definition of a good day.
That it happens to be a Yanx fan can only be described as a double-bonus.

"I'm a Washington Nationals fan but I like the Yankees" -- Nats #1 draft pick Bryce Harper.

The Las Vegas raised Harper went on to explain (in a radio interview) that his other favorites include the Cowboys, Lakers, and Duke.
No word on whether he also pulls for the mechanical rabbit in Greyhound races, the Harlem Globetrotters during their games, or whether the Kims of North Korea are his favorite dynasty dictatorship. I'm also guessing that his Duke "fanship" extends to their basketball team but not so much during football season.
