She's to be induced or whatever or a schedule. Actually his daughter oughta be here by now.

With all the new amenities, couldn't they set up a delivery room at Citi Field?

Tough luck on that Cora wild pitch.

Dream Seats + Stirrups? Does Shake Shack serve a black-and-white epi?

Johan cruising through 2 with 3K (including two wicked strikeouts of Tulo and Atkins).

Rick Peterson couldn't make it back in time to check out her delivery.

Santos continues the Hammel-down-- single up the middle brings home the Frenchman.

They're going to take a breather before Berroa.

Holy crap, did Berroa just knock in 2 runs at once?

CSB is all, "Angel FUCKING Berroa?" Then, chuckles.

Well technically, it was the kickball game in right center that scored the second run, but we'll take it. :-D

Take the Pagan single for a 5th run as well.

I gotta leave the office man.

The Rockies are going to the bullpen with 1 out in the 2nd inning. this is HUGE for the Mets in a double-header. Burn that bullpen out!!

I will keep the mojo alive between games if the Mets can hang on.

here's where it's really important that they don't get indisciplined and start hacking at everything - if they can work through 4/5 relievers here the rockies are under a whale load of pressure for the second game.

I think they're leaving Fogg out there to eat it for a while (4-5 innings), regardless of result.

I also think that "hacking at everything" for 3-6 innings is exactly what happens here, but hey-- I'm just a cockeyed optimist.

Heck of a strikeout there on the Rolling Stones' pianist.

CSB don't need no lunch break-- he is nourished by insure-runs.

Thanks for lunch, Angel the Better! (And Hawpe, who's quite terrible in RF in ways both obvious and subtle.)

I don't have to tell you, that I LOVE creepy sun baby. He's welcome in my backyard any damn day.

Santana cruises through a 7-pitch 6th.

One reliever down, Boo Berry next up.

Hat tip to the dearly-departed Ms. Ursu.

Those of you who were thinking that was Angel Berroa's first intentional walk, you're a little off. He's been through this experience 12 previous times... one actually by Juan Rincon (!).

(Yes, it's a slow afternoon. Why do you ask?)

104 pitches through seven for Johan. A complete game here and a rested bullpen tonight would be extra-sweet.

Nice to be able to dust him off-- he's kinda had a perpetual case of the Mondays for a good 6 weeks.

On another note... 104 pitches, six run lead. You've got to think Misch or Redding is coming in, right?
