nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 come on Niese, we don't walk people infront of Chipper!
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 BAM! Larry doubles Escobar home. 1-0 Bravos.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Larry scores ahead of Anderson's ribby single.2-0 bad guys.

Not sure what Churchy did, but it must be a doozy...
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Nevermind tripling-- Luis can hit it OVER OUTFIELDERS?
Guest holychicken Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Is anyone else getting sick of them wasting ABs on Sheffield?

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Gamecast tells me Citifield just took one away from Ryan Church.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Escobar, Chipper, Anderson and Diaz combine for 2 more runs.4-2 bad guys.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Flerg. It all starts with a walk, doesn't it?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Wright plates a duck and knocks out the starting pitcher. That pitch was several inches outside.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 (edited) Two pearls from Jon Heyman, the most overrated--OHMIGOD, it's the KARS FOR KIDS COMMERCIAL! ARGH!!!--"expert" in the business. The former is unattributed, the second his observation: David Wright and Jose Reyes have disappointed at least one Mets official so far. "Maybe they have a hot streak in them." The Mets look nervous whenever Johan Santana pitches, like they're not going to live up to his standards. And they often don't. Crazy that they're 4-3 in his starts with his 0.78 ERA. Edited May 13, 2009 by Guest
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Really? Gamecast tells me bases are loaded. One of you two is lying.

Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Tatis, a man familiar with grand slams. I hope he gets a chance to tie his record!
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I think Tatis should BREAK his record, preferably at Yankee Stadium in the 1st inning against Andy Pettite and a few relievers. I'd love to see that place completely devoid of Yankees fans during an interleague game.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 HUGE GIGANTIC ENORMOUS inning for Niese here against the top of the braves order, don't give it back!!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 You know, we are going to need a centerfielder's speed in right field in this ballpark.
