Your inability to take even one of the four games at Philadelphia provided the impetus for the entire "collapse" by allowing Philly to gain ground when any loss could have buried them and put the Wild Card into play when you should have been sewing it up. They picked themselves up out of their (much worse) losing streak and we didn't.

Sheets admits he's done for the season, they can't pitch CC every game even though they have little incentive to protect his arm, and their pen rivals ours for suckiness.

I'm not going to bitch about their first playoff appearance in 26 years and, although I personally wouldn't mind seeing them dust off the Phils in the first round, I don't think it's going to happen.

Yeah, I know I can't quantify this, but the Mets' struggles began when they heard footsteps, and they might never have heard them had the Brewers kept Philly down.

I hope the Phillies kick their asses. I'm OK, I think with any of Philly, the Dodgers or the Cubs representing. Cubs and Phillies most I guess.

Stuck in Brewer land today. I've been good about getting congratulations out early...and honestly I've been better about being a gracious loser than I thought I would be.

I will probably end up pulling for them in October, but the further they go, the more obnoxious their fans will get.

Since I live in the Philadelphia market, my main interest in the post-season is to see the Phillies expire as soon as possible.

I suspect that they'll survive the first round.

I don't see why all you guys hate the Phillies so much. They beat us fair and square two years straight, they did it with a mainly homegrown roster, they're not impetuous dillweeds like the Marlins and their fans have suffered every bit as much as we have over the years. The Phillies fans, though, are a bunch of louts (with exceptions, of course) and I'd like to see the Phillies lose just to shut them up. (I feel the same way about the Eagles, to a greater degree.)

His rationale is that if they win, that means their conference/division is the best, and your team, consequently, is from the best conference (and therefore less sad than all the other non-champs).
