4-6-3 DP. That was huge. Clears the bases in front of Pujols with 2 outs.

JD, check the NBF archives. I swear with your beard you kinda resemble that pic of Youngblood in the avatar.

Considering I got so sick of seeing my own grinning mug pointing to the 1986 Trophy that I didn't think it was worth putting back up when gremlins took it away, I think I'll pass. =;)

Joe Buck is speculating that the Mets might give Perez a Game 7 start.

That would be pushing their luck. And it would only be three days rest for Perez.

It's gotta be Trachsel or Darren Oliver. Preferably Darren Oliver.

Hopefully, we'll end it before there is a game seven.

Milner isDaMan.

Man--that guy could launch a low pitch.
It really is great that you pay tribute to him in such a way.

Oliver w/ Trax ready to go for long relief if needed. Or better yet, just clinch the pennant in 6 games.

I say let Trax start, and as long as he pitches a perfect game, leave him in.

Z I think she meant Joan Whitney Payson, a woman Cooby has emulated. While not attaining the wealth and prominence of Mrs. Payson, certaintly her dedication to New York National League baseball has been attained.

This has NOT been heartstopping baseball, nor pulsatting baseball.

Fans have been sitting down for the last four or five innings!

Thats a riff BTW on a Murph quote that is used in the Game 6 NLCS sequence in various Met highlight videos. Not sure at what point he uses the line.
