seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 The second-worst part about Lima is that he's disgracing the number 17. If I was Keith Hernandez I'd poison his postgame spread.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Phils up on the Brew Crew 3-0 in the 3rd.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Holy crap! You see those guys on the roof of the Millennium hotel? Ronnie's right -- you gotta make A-Rod money to do something like that.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 And Jerry Manuel has been ejected from the game. Maybe he was tired of watching Lima and just decided to start cursing at Tim Welke.

His wife (and STD, if we believe the lawsuit) might prove problematic, though.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Can we talk of the Kaboomage please?Manuel's fire and ire clearly inspired Beltran's power.Find yourself Lima. Center. Reach deep. Draw the energy from your environment and feel it feed your core.Feel it Jos.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Bottom of the lineup. Get 'em and get our boys back out there.(and as I type, Bennett barely misses a HR and then grounds out to Reyes)
Guest old original jb Guests Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Anyone ever see that Norman Rockwell painting where the kid is holding a bag full of silverware and sheepishly looking at his parents who are standing in the doorway watching? The title is "It's for the Arch, Dad".Apparently, when they built the Gateway Arch, the archdiocese of St. Louis launched a public spirited campaign getting kids to collect scrap metals for the project. They quickly withdrew the campaign when reports started coming in of scenes like the one immortalized in the Rockwell painting.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 F Lima. I'd rather let Jose F Valentin pitch.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Spezio with a big FU to the CPF for celebrating Pujols' day off.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I was accepted to CPFU, but opted for Manhattan College instead.Only Jose getting one of his runs not charged due to his own throwing error keeps him from keepign his earned-run-per-inning record intact.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 MRI for Bannister tomorrow. On edit...I see this is not news.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 I hate losing day games during the week. This will mean I'll go home tonight, look for something on TV, find a replay of this craptastic game, then have to change the channel before my eyeballs project themselves from my head.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 This guy is so taguchi. He might just be the taguchiest player in baseball.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2006 Posted May 18, 2006 Maybe, but I know a guy who's just a Tad Iguchi.
