Who's coming in to lose one for Peavy
Meatballs to every batter he sees
Who makes a comeback seem so fuckin' easy
Everyone knows it's Embree

Edgy - "Fucking California. That ball had no business staying in the state."

Great line. Made me smile, but not as much as the rest of the inning.

"Embree = sucks"

"Fastball is tasty"

"Kaboom"

My fantasy team should be winnig again now that i hit that out, but goddamn Willie might be beating me because he had Franco's homer tonight...

]Elias sports bureu says that Ken Griffey jr. homered in his 1st AB in 1997, 1998, and 1999.

But those were not his first three seasons in the bigs.

Wow. Go David. Go Kaz.

Ok, now let's score 8.

It's all well and good, but you guys still have 2 more runs to go.

The fun continues as Cliffy singles to score Wright.

it also wasn't his first plate appearence in 2 of those years, only his first AB.

And it all started with that great double-play. Aren't we glad we had Hernandez? No way we turn that if Kaz is playing...

Or we could use a variation on the old joke and say that that HR would
have been out of any park in California ... including Yosemite!!!

I blame Zambrano for this comeback.

i'm already planning my schaffer, kaz gets credit for helping turn that DP but loses it for failing to advance Nady, so in the end he gets whatever i'd have given him for the homer

well, I guess our good vibes got to em.

Wright scores on Floyds single and the Mets have plated 6 in the 8th.
Embrees done for the night. Stick a fork in him.

I thought we'd have trouble going 5 pages of IGT tonight, though i'm sure we lost a few posters along the way.

Confession time: who went to sleep at 2-1 Padres?

Do we see Franco in the field on a double-switch?

Edit: Still no sign of Julio's glove. Heilman pitching.

Isn't it weird how for so long they're able to scratch out nothing, and then with one big hit the floodgates open.

Franco's HR breaks up Kaz's bid to have all the runs scored driven home by the Mets 2B for the third straight game.

Nady's up, meaning we had a 'Bugs Bunny Bat-Around' this inning!!

Looked hard and fast but i couldnt find an image of them doin the chaa- chaa around the basepaths.

they showed that Bug Bunny cartoon on the Mets Diamondvision about 45 minutes before he game on Sunday.
They also showed that Mets kid thing with jailbait Amanda Cole (my friend thinks she's hot, i think she's 15)

Who pitches the 9th.

Going to Julio would be a good way to find out exactly how big this park is.

it would also be a good way to get Wagner a save tonight
